Grade II Manor House

Dating from the 1670s, the elevations of this Grade II manor in Pewsey Vale had been extensively remodelled during the 1780s.

Our task was to undertake a major restoration of the house, stabalising some earlier ill-advised internal alterations and removing a 1960s flat roofed extension.

Chimney defects, spalling roof tiles and failing leadwork have all been repaired. During re-tiling, weakening of the roof structure caused by previous alterations was discretely rectified.

The 1960s extension has been replaced by a sympathetically designed beamed kitchen that takes full advantage of the surrounding garden views.
