From creative re-inventions of derelict buildings to sensitive repair and updating, the Classic Architecture Company has substantial experience of restoration.

The practice's expertise lies in our knowledge of traditional materials - brick, stone and timber; cob, chalk and earth - and of vernacular and historic construction.  We regularly work with specialist joinery and fibrous plaster, and provide specific and appropriate solutions to problems such as rot and infestation.

Whatever the scale of a project, our approach to restoration is governed by respect for the integrity of historic buildings, and the importance of maintaining a living architectural heritage.
