Beyond the design of spaces it is inevitable that Architects become involved in the detail design of interiors and furniture. Here are a few examples of our furniture design:
The AGA Stool
We designed and made this prototype AGA stool to match a traditional cream AGA. It was given serious consideration by AGA to be put into mass production. It was intended to come in a range of enamelled colours to match the AGA range of colours. A neat idea, though only two were ever made.
Television Screen Easel
This is a tripod stand for a micro thin flatscreen television designed to look like an Artist’s easel. Sitting on brass castors and with wireless technology it can be moved around the room.
Oak Four Poster Bed
This traditional looking bed is constructed from heavy oak timbers with cast iron panels with an acorn and oak leaf relief. Quilted and lined curtains finish the design to enclose the bed space.
We have a great deal of experience in designing fitted joinery. Here are a few examples of library shelves, display cases, fitted wardrobes and panelled rooms.
